Walkin’ the Blues

Well I’m stuck now, in a situation, but I must finish Lord, what I began.
And I can’t cope, with my frustrations, and I must try Lord, try to be a man.

So if you see me walkin in the midnight, if you see me walkin in the early hours of the day, you know my blues have come calling and I must them all, walk them all away.

Cuz there ain’t nothin, in this world, there ain’t nothin no one can do, there ain’t no one to console me, that’s why I’m walkin away Lord, walkin away these blues.

You know I love, love my woman, well she the moon and Lord I am her tides, but my poor soul get too heavy and Lord knows I just can’t be satisfied.

When my poor soul gets to heavy and my mind aches Lord both night and day, I just listen what this old guitar tells me, we get through it little by little, day by day.

Cuz there ain’t nothin, in this world, there ain’t nothin no one can do, there ain’t no one to console me, that’s why I’m walkin away Lord, walkin away these blues.

So if you see, see my Mother, won’t you please let her know that I can’t be home no more, but I will write good and often, I will send my love from some foreign shore.

And if you see, see my father won’t you please let him know that I have gone mad, and I can’t cope with my frustrations, and I’m so tired lord, Lord you know I’m tired

Cuz there ain’t nothin, in this world, there ain’t nothin no one can do, there ain’t no one to console me, that’s why I’m walkin away Lord, walkin away these blues.
