Walkin the Blues
Well Im stuck now, in a situation, but I must finish Lord, what I began.
And I cant cope, with my frustrations, and I must try Lord, try to be a man.
So if you see me walkin in the midnight, if you see me walkin in the early hours of the day, you know my blues have come calling and I must them all, walk them all away.
Cuz there aint nothin, in this world, there aint nothin no one can do, there aint no one to console me, thats why Im walkin away Lord, walkin away these blues.
You know I love, love my woman, well she the moon and Lord I am her tides, but my poor soul get too heavy and Lord knows I just cant be satisfied.
When my poor soul gets to heavy and my mind aches Lord both night and day, I just listen what this old guitar tells me, we get through it little by little, day by day.
Cuz there aint nothin, in this world, there aint nothin no one can do, there aint no one to console me, thats why Im walkin away Lord, walkin away these blues.
So if you see, see my Mother, wont you please let her know that I cant be home no more, but I will write good and often, I will send my love from some foreign shore.
And if you see, see my father wont you please let him know that I have gone mad, and I cant cope with my frustrations, and Im so tired lord, Lord you know Im tired
Cuz there aint nothin, in this world, there aint nothin no one can do, there aint no one to console me, thats why Im walkin away Lord, walkin away these blues.
